What exactly is an "edit" vs a "tech fix"?

An edit is a planned change you ask us to make: content updates, CSS tweaks, plugin settings, new sections from existing templates, form field edits, publishing blog posts. Shield and Thrive include unlimited edits (fair use, business hours). A tech fix is time we spend on something that is broken: debugging errors, investigating slowness, untangling a plugin conflict, tracing a bug. Every plan includes a monthly pool of tech fix hours (1/2/3 hrs on Tend/Shield/Thrive). The two pools are separate on purpose, your unlimited edits are never eaten by a bad plugin update.

How does "unlimited" edits actually work?

You queue as many edit requests as you want from the client portal. We work through them one task at a time during business hours (Mon–Sat, 6am–9pm IST) under a simple fair-use policy: each task under 30 minutes of hands-on time, up to 3 active tasks in your queue at once. Anything bigger we scope and quote separately before touching it. This lets small businesses get real value without a single client dumping a year of backlog on day one.

What if I go over my monthly tech fix hours?

Nothing breaks. We keep working, and extra hours are billed at $39/hr on your next invoice. We notify you before crossing the threshold so you can decide whether to approve overage, wait for the next month, or upgrade to a plan with more hours. Tech fix hours do not roll over.

Do you offer phone support?

No sales calls, no discovery calls, no demos, no video meetings. All day-to-day support runs through the client portal and email, with tier-based response SLAs during business hours (24 hrs on Tend, 4 hrs on Shield, same-day on Thrive). Written tickets are faster to triage, create a permanent record, and let the right engineer pick up the thread without a handoff. The only exception is a live emergency where the situation is too urgent for email — in that case your engineer will call you directly until the site is back up.

Shield and above get priority onboarding, usually same or next business day.

Can I switch plans later?

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time from the client portal. We pro-rate the difference on your next invoice. Most clients start on Shield and move up to Thrive as the site grows.

Do you support multiple sites?

Is there a contract or minimum term?

No. Plans are month-to-month by default. Yearly billing saves you two months, and yearly plans can be cancelled within the first 30 days for a refund of the unused portion. Monthly plans carry a 24-hour partial refund after billing and can be cancelled any time to stop the next charge.

How do response-time SLAs work?

Response SLAs are measured during our business hours (Mon–Sat, 6am–9pm IST). Tend gets a 24-hour response, Shield gets 4 hours, and Thrive gets same-day response on urgent issues. If a site is fully down outside business hours, raise an emergency ticket from the portal and we pick it up as soon as an engineer is on.

Do you refund if I cancel?

Yearly plans: cancel within the first 30 days and we refund the unused portion. Monthly plans: partial refund within 24 hours of billing. If no work has started, it is a full refund. If a fix has already shipped in that window, we charge that fix as an individual task at its standard flat price and refund the balance. After 24 hours, cancel any time to stop the next charge. Emergency fixes: full money-back guarantee if we cannot ship the fix.
