1. Who we are
This privacy policy describes how Ainygo Technologies ("Ainygo," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit ainygo.com or use our WordPress maintenance services. Ainygo Technologies is the data controller for personal information described in this policy. 2. What we collect
2.1 Account data
When you create an account or sign up for a plan, we collect your name, email address, company name (if applicable), billing address, and the website URLs you want us to look after. We also store notes you add to your account and the preferences you set for reports and notifications.
2.2 Billing data
Payments are processed by PayPal. We do not see or store your full card number, CVV, or bank details. We receive a confirmation that payment succeeded, the amount, the currency, and a payment reference. PayPal handles card and bank data under their own privacy policy.
2.3 Intake-form data
When you submit an emergency fix or care plan intake form, we collect the information you provide about your site: symptoms, timeline, recent changes, host, WordPress version, and similar technical context. We use this strictly to scope and perform the work you requested.
2.4 WordPress credentials for maintenance access
To perform maintenance work we may need temporary admin, SFTP, or hosting-panel access to your site. We store these credentials in an encrypted vault while work is active, grant access only to the engineer working on your site, and remove or rotate credentials when the work is complete. We never ask for credentials we do not need.
2.5 Cookies and analytics
Our website uses a small number of cookies for session handling and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use cross-site advertising cookies. See section 7 below for details.
3. How we use it
- Service delivery: to perform the maintenance, fix, or plan you signed up for.
- Billing: to charge the correct amount, issue invoices, and handle refunds.
- Support: to reply to your questions, fix issues, and keep a record of past work on your site.
- Security: to detect abuse, protect accounts, and meet our obligations around data security.
- Legal compliance: to meet tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements in the countries we operate in.
We do not use your information for behavioural advertising. We do not profile you to sell you more services. We do not train third-party AI models on your data.
4. Who we share it with
We share personal information only with the processors who help us deliver the service. These include:
- PayPal for payment processing.
- Our hosting and infrastructure providers for running ainygo.com, our internal portal, and our monitoring stack.
- Our email provider for transactional and support email.
- Our analytics provider for aggregate website analytics.
Each processor is bound by a written contract that limits them to processing data on our instructions. We never sell personal information, and we never share it for the commercial purposes of third parties.
5. How long we keep it
- Account data: for the duration of your relationship with us, plus three years after your last activity, then deleted or anonymised.
- Site backups: rotated out on the schedule defined by your plan tier. When the retention window ends the backup is permanently deleted.
- Billing records: retained for seven years to meet tax and accounting obligations.
- Support tickets: retained for three years so we have context if you return to us, then deleted.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have rights under the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and similar laws. These include:
- Access: ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to fix data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal retention rules.
- Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Opt-out: opt out of any non-essential processing, including marketing communications.
- Complaint: lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@ainygo.com. We respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
7. Cookies
We use a small set of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep you signed in and protect forms against abuse. Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate usage (pages viewed, referrer, rough region), with IP addresses truncated at source. We do not set advertising cookies and we do not allow third parties to set advertising cookies through our site. You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Essential site features will continue to work.
8. International transfers
Our team, our infrastructure, and some of our processors are located outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom. When we transfer personal information out of these regions we rely on lawful transfer mechanisms, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs), the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, and, where applicable, transfers to countries recognised as offering an adequate level of protection.
9. Children
Our services are built for businesses, agencies, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, our processors, or the law. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the service after a change means you accept the updated policy.
